Just to tell you a little bit about myself im 29 years old and live in east yorkshire. I started in country music aged 9 yrs old and first performed onstage at Tony Best leisure country music week at Cayton bay Scarbrough along with my sister (who was six years old at the time) as the Truckers Daughters. We carried on as the truckers daughters for the next 6 years performing at various venues, holiday camps and festivals, Including the best of British country music weekend, Fevers Christmas party, Brean sands, Prestatyn, Hopton on sea, kings Lynn, Strupshaw festival, Whitton castle, Leicester festival , and Buile hill festival Manchester. When I left school I decided to make singing and performing my profession and played with a few country bands, trios, duos, singing lead and harmony vocals whilst playing acoustic guitar, bass guitar and keyboards. At around age 19 I broke into the cabaret circuit to gain more experience in entertaining and not long after my sister joined me and together we made a successful duo but my heart was still in country music so I decided in January 2007 to pursue my career in country music. I have worked very hard in producing my own sound and style by producing my own backing tracks and singing some of my own written material which along with the experience I have gained in performing is proving to be very successful with the audiences in Yorkshire, Lancashire and the north east I have played to so far. I play both listening and dancing country with my own versions of traditional country, all my tracks are accompanied by me playing acoustic guitar on stage and costume changes for each spot. Today I get chance to entertain a home crowd at 24in24 and for such a goog cause as the Laura Crane Trust.
